Widnes Social Club and Wine Circle.
The Widnes Wine Circle was formed ( a none profit social club ) about 50 years ago, and was a member of the Federation Of Amateur Wine Makers UK. We used to make our own home made wines from the seasonal fruits of the year. However due to present day trends the club has become more of a social meeting . We can , but we don’t make wines or have the competitions anymore, therefore the new name – Widnes Social Club. Yes we have quite a good social life , days out, theatre nights, visits to local places of interest, and fun and games at our monthly meetings. We are hoping to attract some new members to our social evenings which are held once a month.
Club meetings are- The 2nd Monday of every month 6.15pm Start to 8.30 pm at Ditton Community Centre Dundulk Road Widnes Cheshire . WA8 8DF.
